The Chairman posted to the Facebook group:-

A great opening round with a couple of giants killed in round 1 which will ensure that the sub merits will be interesting again, it’s a harsh format to get through the group but I guess you’ve got to beat everyone if you want to win it regardless !

with regards the sub merits there are 39 losers in total, I need to know of anyone who didn’t turn up as if I wasn’t made aware before the match last night they will not be allowed to enter the sub merits, also for the sub merits to work we require that number to go down to 32… so if you lost and don’t want to enter the sub merits or are going to be away on the date 28th November please let me know and it will really help with the logistics J

Remember the next round will be last 16 and last 8 played at the clubs with the semi and final played on finals night, where the sub merits will go round the pubs again down to 8 then the quarter, semi and final will be played on finals night.

So on to the action !
