Premier Division

    Runaway leaders Players churned out their 16th straight win and i think theirs more chance of seeing a flying pig than them not winning the premier title after they hammered Locomotive 13-3, Loyalists lying second are 7 points adrift after accounting for trent Tavern 11-5, grinders struggled to field a team and paid the penality being helld to a draw by Longton snooker, Pockets gave their sub league chances a boost after beating longton PC 9-7 and Bashers hammered Oggys bar 13-3.

 

Division One

     Longton wmc made a statment as serious title contenders after their second massive win in two weeks - after accounting for Red Lion last week they went one better this week and knocked leaders Green Baize off top spot with a fine 10-8 win, Crompos hammered Longton Lions 13-5 to snatch pole position. Bottom club ashwood were pasted 7-2 at the Red lion but a brilliant 7-2 home win gave them a draw, other results saw Tam o Shanter pip Finney 10-8 and Berryhill WMC beat Joker 10-8,

 

Division Two

     Abbey legion beat Travs Rest 13-5 to remain clear top, an 8-1 home win for the Railway set up a massive 11-7 win over rivals Kings Arms, Park Inn are now on the fringe of the title race after a 13-5 walloping of the Angel, while Baize Windmill had a super 11-7 win over Bird in hand,

 

Division Three

      Commercial stay at the head of affairs after a 12-6 win over Jubilee Club, other results saw Black Lion beat Congress 12-6, Hollybush beat Robert Peel 11-7 and Regent held Bennetts to a draw

 

Division Four

       Pool Dole went clear top with a massive 12-6 win over title rivals Plaza, Birches Head stuned Chaplins with a fine 13-5 win, while Barrel beat Wedgwood 13-5, and Albert beat Cuckoo 11-7.
